This layer displays the location and characteristics of institutional HPSAs, or Health Professional Shortage Areas. HPSA facilities are designated by HRSA as having shortages of primary medical care, dental or mental health providers and consist of comprehensive health centers, federally qualified health centers or other public facilities.
