Updated indicators from the 2018-2022 American Community Survey 5-year Estimates are now here! Create an assessment to view the latest maps and data on population demographics, socio-economic status, housing, and more.

New maps and data are now available for the Tobacco Usage – Current Smokers indicator from the BRFSS PLACES dataset as released in 2024. Data have been updated for the 2022 reporting period, replacing data for 2021.

New data about physical inactivity, diabetes, and obesity are available for 2021 (replacing data for 2019). Time series data are updated to include 2004 through 2019. Affected indicators: Health Behaviors Physical Inactivity (Adult) Health Outcomes Diabetes Prevalence Obesity (Adult)

New maps and data are now available for the Other Social & Economic Factors – Received Food Stamps (Adult) indicator from the BRFSS PLACES dataset as released in 2024.

Data for 2019 acquired from the NCCDPHP Diabetes Interactive Atlases (replacing data for 2018). All the data from previous years since 2004 are updated as well by CDC for methodology change. Confidence intervals also available for data through the map interface. Affected indicators: Health Outcomes Diabetes Incidence

New maps and data are now available for the Other Social & Economic Factors – Lack of Social and Emotional Support (Adult) indicator from the BRFSS PLACES dataset as released in 2024.

New maps and data now are available for the Coronary Heart Disease Hospitalizations indicator. Data have been updated for the 2018-2020 reporting period, replacing data for 2017-2019. Trends over time now available for three-year periods beginning with 2011-2013.

New maps and data are now available for the Housing and Families – Housing Insecurity (Adult) indicator from the BRFSS PLACES dataset as released in 2024.

The three largest job sectors by employment size are listed for report area. The average wage for each sector is also reported.

New 5-year mortality rates for 2019-2023 are now available (replacing data for 2018-2022). Death counts were downloaded from the CDC WONDER query system. Total rates and race/ethnicity or gender statistics are reported for US counties and states with 10 or more deaths over the report period.  Affected indicators: Health Outcomes Influenza & Pneumonia Mortality
