New maps and data now available for indicators from the 2022 US Census Bureau’s SAHIE program (replacing data for 2021). Annual data depicting trends over time is now available for counties, states, and the US for years 2011 through 2022. Affected indicators: Uninsured Population – Total (Under Age 65)

New maps and data now are available for the Stroke Hospitalizations indicator. Data have been updated for the 2015-2017 reporting period, replacing data for 2012-2014. Trends over time now available for three-year periods beginning with 2011-2013. Indicator breakouts by race and ethnicity are now available.

New maps and data now available for indicators from the 2022 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and Tuberculosis Prevention (NCHHSTP) (replacing data for 2021). Data have been updated to the most recent time period (2021). Trend charts are available to display prescribing rates for single years 2013 through 2021.

This indicator reports the net change in total population due to migration for U.S. counties between 2012 and 2022, expressed as a percent change. Data is obtained from the Internal Revenue Service.

Data have been updated to the most recent report period (2022) for the indicator Children Limited in Ability total and by race. Data are from 2022 National Survey of Children’s Health.

New maps and data now available for nonprofit organizations indicator from the 2023 IRS Exempt Organization Business Master File. Indicator data report the number and rate of 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations per 100,000 population.

New map and data for chronic absenteeism (from the ED Data Express) for school year 2022-23 are now available. Breakouts by race and ethnicity are also available.

New 5-year mortality rates for 2019-2023 are now available (replacing data for 2018-2022). Death counts were downloaded from the CDC WONDER query system. Total rates and race/ethnicity or gender statistics are reported for US counties and states with 10 or more deaths over the report period.  Affected indicators: Health Outcomes Poisoning Mortality

This indicator reports the homeless students enrolled in elementary or secondary schools in SY 2021-2022 whose primary nighttime residences are shelters, doubled-up/shared housing, hotels/motels, or unsheltered.
