A new indicator has been added to the reporting platform! This indicator reports emergency department utilization rates among Medicare beneficiaries from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Geographic Variation Public Use File. Data are reported for the latest report period (2018) with trends over time available beginning with year 2010.

New maps and dat for the Park Access indicator are not available! This updated dataset reports the number and percentage of people within a buffer of ½ mile radius of a park at the census tract level. Data were obtained from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Environmental Public Health Tracking Network (EPHTN)….

New data about the prevalence of multiple chronic conditions among the Medicare population are available for 2018 (replacing data for 2017). Time series data are now available for years 2011 through 2018.

Indicators displaying the percentage of population with low food access and population living in food deserts have been updated. The updated data were released in April, 2021 and reflect conditions on the ground in the year 2019. This update replaces previous indicator data reflecting conditions 2015.
