Data is available as average spent (dollar amount spent on a product or service divided by total number of households in an area) and as a percentage of total household spending (amount spent per household on a product or service divided by the total household spending in an area). Food-related expenditures include those for: Child Care; Day Care, Nursery, and Preschool; Health Care; Housing; Transportation; Utilities, Fuel, and Public Service.

Food-related expenditures include those for: Fruit and Vegetables; Meat, Alcohol; Snacks; Food Consumed at Home (Total); Dining Out (Total).
