Influenza Vaccination Rate by County

This layer displays immunization rates for seasonal influenza among adults aged 18 and older. Data are from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) FluVaxView data portal. The county-level estimates within FluVaxView are derived from responses to the 2018 and 2019 BRFSS.

Selected Risk Factor Indicators from BRFSS 2011-2012

Layers display 2011-2012 health risk behaviour estimates using data from the CDC Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System. Data is available for all states, and for counties with over 20 total survey responses over the reporting period. Click the links to load maps depicting chronic disease prevalence (heart disease; asthma; stroke), tobacco use (cigarette use; quit attempt), preventative care (HIV/AIDS screening), and weight status (overweight; obesity). Adequate Fruit Consumption by State, 2015

Indicator percentages are acquired from analysis of annual survey data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) for survey year 2015. Percentages are generated based on valid responses to the following questions:
“During the past month, not counting juice, how many times per day, week, or month did you eat fruit? Count fresh, frozen, or canned fruit.” and “During the past month, how many times per day, week or month did you drink 100% PURE fruit juices? Do not include fruit-flavored drinks with added sugar or fruit juice you made at home and added sugar to. Only include 100% juice.”

Adequate Vegetable Consumption by State, 2015

Indicator percentages are acquired from analysis of annual survey data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) for survey year 2015. This indicator represents the percentage of adults who indicated that they consumed more than 1 serving of other vegetables per day.
