Prescription Drug Claims for Opioids by ZIP Code and County, 2018
Layer displays the percentage of claims for prescription drugs among Medicare Part D beneficiaries that were for opioid drugs in 2018. Data is available by county, ZIP Code Tabulation Area (ZCTA) and by physician (address).
Fall Mortality for 2018-22 by County
This layer displays fall mortality rates from the CDC’s National Vital Statistics System – Mortality database. Data are 5-year aggregates for 2018-22 and grouped by ICD-10 codes.
Estimated Pesticide Use by County
This layer shows the estimated agricultural use of pesticide compounds for counties in the contiguous lower 48 states. Total pesticide use was calculated per area and for area in agricultural land. Additional layers for glyphosate, metolachlor, atrazine, acetochlor, 2,4-D were also calculated and available in the map room as separate layers!
Heart Disease Hospitalizations by County, 2015-17
This layer displays the rate hospitalization for patients with an initial hospital admission for coronary heart disease. Data are reported at the county level 2015-17 three-year period. Data are obtained from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Interactive Atlas of Heart Disease and Stroke.

This layer displays the percentage of female Medicare beneficiaries age 35 and older that received an annual breast exam or mammogram in the latest report year (2017).
Drug Overdose Death by County and Census Tract, 2023-24
This layer displays timely information on the estimated overdose mortality rate for counties and census tracts using provisional and final death data. Some census tracts are grouped to protect data privacy. Rates are modeled for areas with greater than 0 but fewer than 10 deaths in the report period.
