New maps and data for 2019-2023 now available for Coronary Heart Disease Mortality indicator!

New 5-year mortality rates for 2019-2023 are now available (replacing data for 2018-2022). Death counts were downloaded from the CDC WONDER query system. Total rates and race/ethnicity or gender statistics are reported for US counties and states with 10 or more deaths over the report period.  Affected indicators: Health Outcomes Coronary Heart Disease Mortality

New maps and data now available for the Population Estimate (2024) indicator from the CPS Single-Year Estimates.

This indicator reports the annual population estimate derived from the Census Bureau’s Population Estimates Program (PEP). PEP annually utilizes current data on births, deaths, and migration to calculate population change since the most recent decennial census and produce a time series of estimates of population, demographic components of change, and housing units.

New maps and data now available for the Irrigation Water Withdrawal indicator from the USGS.

This indicator reports the estimated number of gallons of water withdrawn per day used for irrigation. Crop irrigation withdrawals and irrigation consumptive use refer to water removed and consumed, respectively, from a groundwater or surface-water source to produce agricultural crops. Monthly withdrawals provided include groundwater, surface water, and the combined total withdrawal for areas.

This indicator reports the estimated number of gallons of water used per day used for public use.
