Low Education Counties
Low education counties are those where at least 57 percent of residents ages 25 to 64 did not have any post-secondary education in the 2018–22 5-year American Community Survey (ACS). Metropolitan and nonmetropolitan areas are based on the U.S. Office of Management and Budget 2023 delineation of core based statistical areas.
Influenza and Pneumonia Mortality for 2016-20 by County
This layer displays influenza and pneumonia mortality rates from the CDC’s National Vital Statistics System – Mortality database. Data are 5-year aggregates for 2016-20 and grouped by ICD-10 codes.

This updated dataset reports the total number of days in which an extreme heat event was above the 98th percentile between 2019-2021 at the county level. Data were obtained from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Environmental Public Health Tracking Network (EPHTN).
Maximum Temperature – Average Days Above 100 Degrees

Suicide Mortality by County and Census Tract, 2023-24
This layer displays timely information on the estimated suicide mortality rate for counties and census tracts using provisional and final death data. Some census tracts are grouped to protect data privacy. Rates are modeled for areas with greater than 0 but fewer than 10 deaths in the report period.
