Low Education Counties
Low education counties are those where at least 57 percent of residents ages 25 to 64 did not have any post-secondary education in the 2018–22 5-year American Community Survey (ACS). Metropolitan and nonmetropolitan areas are based on the U.S. Office of Management and Budget 2023 delineation of core based statistical areas.
Influenza and Pneumonia Mortality for 2016-20 by County
This layer displays influenza and pneumonia mortality rates from the CDC’s National Vital Statistics System – Mortality database. Data are 5-year aggregates for 2016-20 and grouped by ICD-10 codes.
LEHD Commuting Data
This layer displays the net commuting flow for counties and census tracts from the 2022 LEHD Location-Origin Dataset. Other commuting data layers are also available in the same data release including out commuters, in commuters, and workplace area characteristics. Diabetes Incidence by County, 2021
This updated layer displays the estimated rate per 1000 population with newly diagnosed diabetes by county. These figures are multi-year modeled estimates based on survey data from the CDC Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System.
Air Quality – Ozone Levels (O3) by Census Tract, 2016
This layer displays the daily average concentration of ozone and the percentage of days with concentrations of ozone above the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) of 0.075 parts per million in 2016.
Transfer Receipts Income, 2019
This layer displays information about transfer receipt income by county. Per capita measures of income are calculated as the total component income of the residents of an area divided by the population of the area. Tax Returns Claiming Earned Income Tax Credits
This layer displays information about tax credits and tax deductions claimed by tax filers. Information is available for all ZIP codes and counties where 10 or more total tax returns were filed. Eligible tax payers may receive between $1 and over $5,000 in Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC).
